A thought. A gentle regard for someone — the care you take when you hold them in mind.
“I believe that therapy is not about having all the answers, but about having a space where you can slow down, understand yourself better, and work towards meaningful change with support.”

I am a UGC NET-qualified Queer-affirmative and Trauma-informed Counselling Psychologist with a Master's of Science degree in Counselling Psychology from IIPR, Bengaluru, and a BA in Psychology from St. Xavier's, Mumbai, and I have worked across a diverse range of mental health concerns and client populations.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and creating a psychologically safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore themselves at their own pace. I am trained in a wide variety of approaches, including CBT, REBT, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Therapy, and Couples Therapy, and draw from these approaches based on the individual needs and goals of each client.
I have particular experience working with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families, and support clients navigating concerns related to relationships and family dynamics, self-esteem, body image, sexuality, academics, careers, workplace concerns, and addiction, among others.

There isn't a formal 'Love 101' course. The learning of loving happens in conversations, in moments of silence, and in moments of conflict.

There is no single reason why someone decides to begin therapy. Sometimes, there isn't even a clear reason — you just know that something feels difficult and you would like some support.
Yes. Everything discussed stays between us. The only exceptions are the standard ethical ones — a clear risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or a legal requirement. I'll always talk you through it if that ever comes up.
It varies. Some people come for a focused six to eight sessions around a specific issue; others stay longer for deeper work. We review together every few sessions, and you're never locked into a package.
Not at all. Therapy is just as useful for feeling stuck, flat, or quietly unhappy as it is for acute distress. You don't need to justify needing a space to think.
Research consistently shows online therapy works as well as in-person for most concerns. Sessions are held over a secure video link — all you need is a private corner and a stable connection.
Life happens. Let me know at least 24 hours in advance and we'll move the session at no cost. Cancellations inside 24 hours are charged, since the slot is held for you.
No — as a psychologist I work therapeutically, not medically. If medication seems worth exploring, I'll refer you to a trusted psychiatrist and we can continue working alongside that.
Questions before booking, or not sure which session is right? Send a note — I read every message myself.
I usually reply within one working day.
